Playgames field tools · version / date / reset
Daily Red different team? Check the version first.
A mismatch is a version-identification problem before it is a strategy problem. Use this short checklist to avoid applying the right advice to the wrong challenge.
1. Compare the complete website address
Ask both players for the exact URL. The amoi current entry and the three browser editions listed here have different implementations. A title, logo, search snippet or challenge number cannot establish that they use the same team. This tool names the chosen website in the result and copied label.
2. Compare the date basis, not only the displayed day number
The current amoi entry states00:00 UTC. At that boundary, Shanghai reaches08:00 and Tokyo09:00. The three browser editions state local midnight. Choose the timezone that their browser actually uses to preview that boundary; selecting it in this helper does not change any game setting. Daylight-saving changes can make a local day23 or25hours, so a fixed24-hour timer is not always correct.
3. Compare your real game screen
Check the team, moves, held items and any version label on the actual website. This helper does not load a game, ROM or saved run and cannot determine those values. The previous source audit saw different six-person teams across the browser editions on the same local date; those frozen observations are not a live “today team” feed.
4. Preserve the correct attempt and rules
The amoi entry currently describes first-battle Hall of Fame scoring and unranked rematches. Other editions describe their own scored-attempt, practice and unfinished-run rules. Read the page you are actually using before refreshing or treating another website’s practice instructions as interchangeable. These visible statements were checked on14October; gameplay and save continuity were not tested by this helper.
5. Share a label with its scope
Check dates, then copy the version label and helper link. The label includes the chosen website, calculated calendar date, reset basis and source check date. It says explicitly that matching dates do not confirm matching teams. The link restores only the fixed website and timezone selections; it does not transfer a game save or battle result.
If the mismatch remains
Keep the actual URLs and game-screen team/date labels together when comparing a guide. A wrong device clock, a stale browser tab, an in-progress older run or a changed website implementation can invalidate a calendar-only comparison. These are checks to perform, not diagnoses this tool has established. If a page changes its published reset rule, the dated source table needs a recheck before relying on it.
