What Aion Name Forge actually checks
The generator composes local syllables, applies the selected maximum length and removes duplicate spellings within a batch. New generated ideas use Latin letters, start with a capital and contain at least four letters. Its 8, 10, 12 and 16-letter options are creative output controls.
What an official source says
NC’s AION 2 Global Support Code of Conduct, dated 15 September 2026 and reviewed for this guide on 13 October 2026, treats profanity and vulgar wording in character names as prohibited behavior. It also includes character names in its prohibition on impersonating game masters or company staff. The policy describes enforcement discretion and says its list is not exhaustive.
That is a conduct-policy source for Global support, not a technical naming specification for every region. This guide does not infer accepted characters, a minimum or maximum length, or server-wide uniqueness from it. Use the official guidance applicable to your service region; wording and client validation can change.
Check your intended name in the current game
- Select the region and server where you intend to create the character.
- Read the current field instructions and relevant official policy. Confirm how that client counts characters and which spellings it accepts.
- Enter the exact candidate and read the current validation response. This is where you must check availability.
- If a candidate fails, use the game’s explanation to choose a clearly different, suitable alternative.
- Recheck the final spelling before you confirm character creation.

Make a readable alternative
If a spelling is unavailable, try another ending, a blank or different prefix, or a new batch. Avoid copying a private identifier into a public character name. Choose a spelling you can recognize and communicate to other players; these are creative suggestions, not official requirements.
