Aion 2 name styles, archetypes and prefixes
Explore Aion 2 name styles with original Elyos-inspired and Asmodian-inspired syllable palettes, creative archetypes and a three-letter prefix.
Explore two original sound palettes
Elyos-inspired openings in this tool include Ae, Lumi and Sera. Asmodian-inspired openings include Zar, Vor and Thal. The endings differ as well. These are original choices made for Aion Name Forge, rather than a recovered in-game language or a list of approved faction names.
Choose a palette for the sound you enjoy. Any style can use either one in a batch. A spelling produced by an Elyos-inspired setting does not establish that it belongs to that faction or that its use is required for your character.
Use archetypes as writing prompts
| Tool archetype | Possible middle fragments |
|---|---|
| Any | No added archetype fragment |
| Warrior | dor, val, rak |
| Mage | mir, ael, zen |
| Support | ser, va, iel |
| Ranger | lyn, ryn, na |
The generator selects one fragment from the chosen row. The labels suggest a creative mood; they do not assign a build, a role or an official class. The same archetype can produce different sounds when combined with another prefix, opening or ending.
Work with the three-letter prefix
A prefix is an optional personal starting syllable. The tool strips everything except A–Z letters, takes the first three retained letters and uses them in lowercase during composition. It capitalizes the completed idea’s first letter.
| What you enter | Prefix used |
|---|---|
| Luna | lun |
| A-7e! | ae |
| 123 or punctuation alone | No prefix |
| A non-Latin script without A–Z letters | No prefix |
This transformation describes the tool’s input handling. It is not a restriction on what Aion 2 itself permits. A longer seed will not be preserved in full, so use a short invented fragment rather than a full account name or other private identifier.
Keep an ending you like
Composition happens before the selected maximum is applied. For example, a prefix plus opening plus middle fragment can use most of an eight-letter result before the ending appears. Moving to 12 or 16 letters allows more of that combination to remain, while clearing the prefix can make a shorter spelling easier to read.
- If results share the same first few letters, try a blank prefix.
- If a preferred ending keeps disappearing, allow a longer tool result.
- If a name feels awkward aloud, change one setting and compare a new batch.
- Treat every example as a creative idea and validate the final candidate in the game.
